This was cool. I heard of the Fielding Bible this week. Its a pretty cool panel. I think Joe Posnanski is the best sportswriter in America. Its a really cool concept. It so weird to think that Andruw Jones would have won this award 3 years ago and now…nothing!

Every play counts. If a player makes a play that everyone else makes, it is basically a “zero”, but if they miss it, it would be a large “minus”. The only way to get a large “plus” is to make plays that others don’t.

For the plus/minuses count, how do they count routine plays (pop ups, weak grounders, etc.)?
